Review of Stargate (1994) by Gordon/The Mad Artist — 01 Jun 2009
A hit-and-miss mess that happened to inspire the long-running sci-fi TV series. Spader comes off well, but Anderson aka McGyver is superior to Kurt Russell's military tough guy. Some decent special effect moments but generally a warning of Roland Emmerich cheese to come such as THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW and 10,000 B.
