Review of Stardust (2010) by E L — 28 Jul 2012
Ignoring the major deviations in terms of plot from the book's version, Stardust as a movie has the required amazing special effects, although it "breaks character" from it's period setting too many times to be completely enjoyable.
Could have been better written, and diminishes into yet another genre blockbuster with nothing special about it (except for de Niro's and Pfeiffer's performances).
