Review of Stardust (2007) by Hrant B — 17 Jan 2013

I knew nothing of the original material but I appreciate Neil Gaiman from my comic reading days. The only thing that sold me on this was DeNiro popping up in a small role and aside from Michelle Pfeiffer as a decent villain.

.this is pretty sloppy. It is a cross between fantasy and swashbuckling but instead of having anything original it just feels like a copy of a lot of different stuff. While some of the makeup and costumes are good.

.the cgi is really bad.
