Review of Stardust (2007) by Matt — 10 Aug 2007
Funny, enchanting, and just plain fun, Stardust falls into theaters leaving audiences giggling, applauding, and maybe even crying a little for those of us who still feel romance isn't dead. The movie is not perfect, and as with any book-based film there are changes.
However, this time around the work to the film's advantage, giving us a romance that is much more plausible and leaving out bits of the book that were just plain boring. Any fantasy or romance fan should be at home watching Stardust.
Give it a while to get going, and it will sweep you off your feet.
