Easily the best film I've seen this year. VERY likable characters (Danes is easily the weakest actor, but she's passable), good music (though sometimes utterly stolen from films like Bram Stoker's Dracula), flat-out awesome set design and cinematography, and many interesting and complicated plot elements that ALL get gracefully resolved! (which is impressive, and appears to have been lost on many critics who I believe just have too short an attention span or lack of focus.
