Review of Stardust (1922) by Wayne F — 11 Apr 2012
It's hard to dislike this, due to the fact it has a great cast, witty dialog and well written. The problem I had with this was because it felt to slow to get to the main plot. The cast (like I said) are great but the acting was above average, with one or two shining.
It is a good fantasy film and slickly directed by Matthew Vaughn and the production value is very good. I didn't really find it that entertaining, it got boring and some rubbish CGI moments put me off slightly but the final 20 minutes were great and really funny, I'd have more respect for it if it was just a little shorter.
Don't be part off, loads of people like this, it's ok...but I've seen better. Good family film, kids will love it as well as adults. Good named cast too.
