"stardust" looked like it was going to be kid friendly garbage when I first saw previews for it, years back. I only recently learned that it was helmed by "kick-ass" director, matthew vaughn.
that peaked my interest, so I decided to check it out. it turns out, "stardust" is a very entertaining and often amusing film. the humor is pretty odd, but I think that adds to this film standing out.
