Review of Starbuck (2011) by Kyle A — 27 Sep 2012
A crowd pleasing comedy, "Starbuck" is filled with light-hearted fun and whole-hearted laughs. It gets a little melodramatic at moments and the premise is highly unrealistic, but that's part of the fun of the film.
"Starbuck" is a reminder that the definition of family can mean many things and that the most important thing is to be a good person to everyone, to treat the world as your family... especially if your world consists of 533 biological children.
Yeah, the theme is cheesy for sure, but the filmmakers make it work and have a lot of fun doing it.
