Review of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) by Tee K — 03 Feb 2018
The plot is is weak. I would have preferred if an hour of the movie was cut. For example, Finn and Rose's quest was patronizing to the audience/characters/actors in my opinion. Also, what was the point of having Snoke as a character?
I kept thinking about Chekhov's gun through the film... "If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don't put it there.".
The action/spectacle, not the story, comes first in this film. Just my 0.02.
