No question, makes the prequels look great, the biggest let down and the poorest showing for Star Wars, and I have seen them all. All the audience negative critiques are spot on. Sad that the once great Star Wars has been reduced to a political propaganda film reel, but that is what it felt like.
As I watched this movie (and I did in fact like Force Awakens) I felt that they contrived a plot so they could promote a political message -- and that, my friends, will always only make the movie worse.
In what Yoda would say "Fear I do the end of Star Wars this is.".
