Review of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) by Sexymango — 31 Dec 2017
I don’t understand people giving this movie 10s, it’s ridiculous.
I personally didn’t like how they killed off Snoke. No explanation on who he was, what he wanted. Oh well. Flying granny scene was .... I think pathetic is the right word. In the middle, when Rey and Kylo were connecting I really thought something special was going to happen. Either them switching sides of the force, evil Rey, good Kylo. Or them somehow reshaping the force into some new order... Maybe even bringing good and evil together through love. nah, R is good,K is evil. Boooring.
Curly hair guy, his story arch was pointless, I don’t remember his name. Purple hair lady was a god awful leader and I’m glad she’s dead (also don’t remember her name).
Finn sadly got stuck into another pointless story arch with that annoying, unimportant, tertiary character, Rose. I do remember her name just because of how incredibly shallow her character was. She RUINED his heroic suicide and then told him she loved him just before dying.... Like he met you not even a day ago you **** weirdo. GROSS. Special effects were top notch, even if some things were really out of place. Like those weird penguins and the red salt lake.
I did love the scene where ray touches the rock at the bottom of the island though. I Probably won’t go to watch the next one.
