The original protagonist of the Star Wars saga is character-assassinated so that we can be impressed by the new Mary Sue. Meanwhile, bland characters get involved in unfunny hijinx against an unimaginative background.
I've been a fan since 1977, but this is the last Star Wars I'm going to watch.
