Review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) by Jose G — 19 Dec 2017
Exciting and sentimental, The Force Awakens adds some new flare to the Star Wars Saga, though where it falters is that it goes by too fast without being able to really relate to these new characters. Much of it feels like exposition and a set up for a trilogy, and it almost tries to do too much in its 2 hour 15 minute run time.
It doesn't always feel like classic Star Wars because of its fast paced nature, but its glorious moments and thrilling galactic visuals more than make up for these faults. It's probably the best film you'll see with as little character development it has, and it's a film that leaves you wanting to see so much more.
