The Force Awakens takes few risks but it's impossible not to be thrilled by the return of the old favourites, the addition of a winning new cast, and the sound of that iconic John Williams theme. It may not be up there with the original trilogy, but it leaves the prequels in the dust and sets up exciting possibilities for the future.
