It was already a poorly executed soft remake of Ep 4, with more plot holes than a Michael Bay movie, but now that the Last Jedi threw away the few interesting questions it had painstakingly setup, there is not much left.
To quote Mary Su-- I mean, Rey, when she first spotted the suddenly indestructible Millennium Falcon offscreen, it is "garbage".
