A decent return for Star Wars. While it is no where near the awfulness of the prequels, it also doesn't quite reach the heights of a film like Empire Strikes Back. John Boyega did a great job as Finn and the rest of the supporting cast was pretty good as well.

Rey on the other hand I found to be annoying and whined too much. Also a big reveal occurs much too early for it to have a major impact later in the film. Overall The Force Awakens has some great visuals, excellent action scenes and some good performances.

This film isn't a masterpiece or even the best film of 2015, but it is a fun time.
