Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by Sean M — 26 Oct 2010
Okay, what burns me here is that the movie, beyond having only the bare minimum plot, which was exceeded by the old Ewok Adventure movies, is that it makes it even more glaring that the change over from Jedi to Sith in Anakin has no real basis. Here he is being represented as a clear hero, as opposed to giving us any real insight into his eventual fall to the Dark Side.
As well, his relationship with Ahsoka is strange in that Ahsoka has absolutely no reason to even be a Jedi. She is clearly reckless, on a level even Anakin doesn't go for, and weren't they trying to can him in ep I for showing just a little bit of fear while surrounded by Jedi Masters being judged by them? How did she make the cut? This is never explained in any way, she's just there.
