Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by Andii H — 11 Apr 2012
This putrid cartoon takes place between the second and third prequels to the Star Wars saga. It uses stiff, ugly animation to follow Anakin Skywalker's attempt to rescue Jabba the Hutt's son from some galactic terrorists.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars served as a lead-in to the popular cartoon series that followed it, but my distaste for this robotically boring movie stopped me from checking it out. Particularly grating was the introduction of a Hutt character who is pointlessly modeled after Truman Capote.
