Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by Tyler R — 22 Sep 2012
I really cannot figure out why, but I immenely enjoyed this film more than the other three prequels. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" follows Anakin Skywalker as he reluctantly breaks in a rookie, while at the same tine trying to return Jabba the Hutt's son who Count Dooku has claimed the jedi have kidnapped.
The film is very enjoyable. The settings and musical score are all in check with the previous films, and the action is there too. The film is enjoyable for fans of the series, and the voice actors do an admirable job portraying the characters.
The film acted as a prequel to the show, which is it's biggest problem: It doesn't feel like a film, just one long episode of the cartoon. The film does do a nice job at setting some key events in the show up, and it is an enjoyable film.
If you like the show, you'll enjoy this, though fans of the actual films may not enjoy this.
