Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by Barry C — 11 May 2014
After reading the other comments I just have to put in mine. First of all THIS IS NOT A MOVIE. Its a cartoon series that ran on Cartoon Network. I can't think of any cartoon series since Bugs Bunny/Road Runner that wasn't made to sell toys.
Being an animation fan I like to see what's being offered to kids that might also appeal to adults. Compared to everything else CN offers (not including Adult Swim) this show is a watchable story.
Not every show can be a Hayao Miyazaki quality program and, let's face it, even the die hard original trilogy fans will admit that episode 6 was mostly crap too. For what this show is, it's mindless entertainment for all ages.
BTW for all that think Star Wars will improve with episode 7, don't forget what company bought it and how many billions they make on toys.
