Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by Eric H — 14 Oct 2015
I knew from the start this was no Star Wars movie as we know it. I knew that what I was going to see in the cinema was going to be a Child animation movie made for television. Cause this was intended for television, thus the reason the animation is not as amazing as a Pixar movie.
Storywise I didn't expect much either. The story is simple, not terrible as some put it. It does its job as a story for a television series, but I did not expect it would be of the same level as the previous Star Wars movies.
Personally I thought the action was very good, which makes up for the lack of story. I expected this movie to be entertaining, nothing more. And that is what I exactly got. Sure I sat down and thought that some things could have been better, like the depiction of the characters, some of the dialogue and how they changed John Williams' music.
This film is good enough for what it is.
