One of the weaker Star Wars movies but certainly not the worst. Let's start off with the positives. The storytelling was good. Ahsoka Tono, the protagonist, received a good amount of character development.

She went from being arrogant and trying to prove herself to being humble and learning her place. There were several emotional touching scenes when Anakin was mentoring and showing compassion to Ahsoka.

The visuals looked good. The action scenes were fun to watch. Some of the jokes worked in this movie. Unfortunately, the movie had many negatives as well. Though Ahsoka received character development, she came off as very unlikable and annoying in numerous scenes.

At least I can see what the writers were going for, but I have to admit it was not executed very well. Ahsoka has a very frustrating scenes when she trips over a trap and activities deadly droids. That was a Jar Jar Binks like moment for a character I was supposed to take seriously.

That scene was not funny to watch at all. I do not like the scenes when Anakin and Ahsoka were arguing. There were too many of those scenes and not enough scenes of Anakin mentoring or encouraging Ahsoka.

Padme had to show up in this movie. Of course, because it is the nature of her character throughout the Prequels and Clone Wars series, Padme comes up with a risky idea, told not to go through with it, refuses to listen, nearly get's killed and captured, and then she needs to get recused.

Well, at least I can say she did help by revealing the Zero the Hutt, Jabba's Uncle, was behind the kidnapping of Jabba's son. Still, her appearance in this movie was frustrating. Last but not least, some of the dialogue in this movie was cringeworthy.

Is this a good movie? No. Is this a terrible movie? No. This movie had an equal amount of good and bad. And for that reason, I give this movie a 5/10.
