Review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) by Timeofthechimps — 16 Mar 2015
Characterisations in this film were way better than the prequels, and the lightsaber duels were amazing. Using the droids as the comic relief didn't work too well, though, which brings it down a bit. Otherwise, the film feels like genuine Star Wars, and that's what makes it great.
When I first searched this film, I though reviews were going to be positive. What I saw honestly shocked me. I guess the negative reviews are because people were forced to adjust to newer characters and settings, which they noticeably had a hard time doing.
Me, though? I love a lot of things pertaining to Star Wars, and this is one of them. 9/10.
