Review of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) by Christopher H — 15 Feb 2018
This is the best Star Wars film since Empire Strikes Back, if not the best in the whole Star Wars saga. Apart from a few minor lines of bad dialogue and Darth Vader's "No!" at the end, it is close to a perfect movie.
The special effects and cinematography are excellent. Ian Mcdiarmid shines as Palpatine / Darth Sidious, one of the most well written and brilliantly acted villains of all time. The battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustafar is the most emotionally compelling and visually breathtaking sword fight in all of cinematic history.
