Review of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) by Tacothief — 15 Nov 2018
A bit better than people give it credit for I think. Anakin's decision between Windu and Palpatine is a mirror to Anakin's decision between Palpatine and Luke in RotJ, and creates a very strong connection between these scenes.
The moment he solidifies himself as evil, and then in RotJ, the moment he tries to redeem himself. It's good writing. The movie has some weak points and some details were silly, but if you take a step back and see the overall trilogy as conveying Darth Vader's fall to the dark side, this is a compelling story and the films portray it well.
