Review of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) by Spyguy G — 25 Mar 2016
I can see why people hate this film - I really do. But for me, this is the film the previous two prequels should have been. Hayden's acting ability has defiantly stepped up, as has everyone's in this film. From the first shot you see, you can tell the CGI looks 10 times better. A lot of things have improved, and, while it's still cringey at times, the script has too. Anakin's turn is my only issue, as it happens so quickly you can't really believe about how fast it has happened. Regardless, when he has turned, and he is now known as Darth Vader, it is the best scenes of the entire prequels. Order 66 is emotional, the story of Darth Plageius the wise is haunting; it's like Lucas actually wanted this film to appeal to fans of the original trilogy, and for me, it did.
Oh yeah, and General Grievous is the most underrated character in SW - he is badass!
