Review of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) by Bryant P — 13 Oct 2017
Does not get the credit it deserves, unfairly lumped in with the rest of the prequels. Unafraid, thought-provoking, and epic. Represents an inkling of what Star Wars could have been, a political thriller with suspense and actual stakes.
So close to being a truly fantastic film but for its missteps in dialogue and pacing. Still. This is what Star Wars could have been. A dark fall from grace, the chosen one turning to the dark side to protect the person he loves.
What a fantastic character arc and well handled by this movie. Utimately one of the best of the entire series.
