Review of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) by Bobb. — 23 Sep 2006
The best out of the first 3 episodes of Star Wars. The acting wasn't nearly as bad as in Episode 3, and the story was never too flashy or action packed at the same time, which was not the case for episode 3.
Lucas showed lots of Coruscant, from the car chase, to the Jedi Temple, the diner, etc. That is missing from Episode 3. In Ep. 3, you hardly even realize that the Republic is in bad shape. All you see are speeders flying around like they always are with nothing happening outside Palpatines office and Padmes apartment.
Clones has just the right balance of mystery, action, special effects, and average acting. For anyone who says this is worse than Revenge of the Sith, you must be out of your mind.
