Possibly my least favorite of the franchise on the acting and directorial front, I can't deny that in terms of narrative strength and just pure focus this is a significantly better movie than The Phantom Menace.

I just wish we didn't spend so much time on the most awkward and unconvincing on-screen relationship I've ever seen: Hayden Christiansen and Natalie Portman. Portman is trying her hardest to convince you and I know that Hayden is too, but not once did I feel that they actually loved one another.

It just feels like another stepping stone toward the eventual end that everyone wants to see more than this: the final transformation into Darth Vader.
