Review of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) by Barnabas S — 26 Dec 2015
This film, in my opinion, is worse than the Phantom Menace. This is mainly due to over-the-top and unnecessary CGI, a poor performance by Hayden Christensen and a plot that fails to take off until 2 hours into the film itself.
The only benefiting scenes in this movie are the "Jedi vs Droids" battle and the "Yoda vs Dooku" fight scene. The music by John Williams is still perfect, but it is all wasted on a poor spectacle that desperately tries to be good.
And, to top it off, the script for Anakin and Padme's love story is more than horrible.
