Review of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) by Jared B — 08 Oct 2016
Attack of the Clones is a great film with a powerful third act. The practical effects are actually present in the film and the effects are great for their time. It has a beautiful score by John Williams, arguably his best and has iconic/memorable performances from Ewan Mcgregor, Natalie Portman, Christopher Lee, and Samuel L.
Jackson. Though Hayden Christensen is unbearably cringy, the rest of the film is truly great and my second favorite of the prequel trilogy. It also has great production design and they do sexualize Natalie Portman too much but itâ(TM)s Natalie Portman.
Solid 8/10.
