Review of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) by Alec B — 10 Dec 2015

Lucas' staging of the action sequences is competent enough to keep the film watchable, however the overly complicated and murky plot filled with poor narrative choices (that go way beyond just Jar Jar Binks) keep the film from ever coming even halfway close to reaching the heights of the original trilogy.
