Review of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) by Thomas L — 20 Dec 2015
The thing that grinds me the most about this movie (alongside JarJar) is the over-the-top use of CGI. It's so horribly noticeable in every scene that it detracts from any kind of enjoyment you could attain from the movie.
That said, I love Darth Maul. I also love McGregor and Neeson as the heroes, they work well together. Unfortunately, I like my films a little more "real".
