Review of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) by Brandon A — 26 Jan 2016
Not one of George Lucas's best work, Star Wars episode I The Phantom Menace, was one of the most disappointing Star Wars movies of all time. Even though there were still good elements to it, it does a terrible job keeping you in it.
The only cool part about this film, was Darth Maul, played by Ray Park, who does a terrific job, playing his role. This film can cause you to lose faith in the franchise, but don't give up hope, there's still good qualities in this film, even though the prequels get a little bit better, the last film in the saga gives you a little hope in the saga.
