Review of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) by K G — 13 Nov 2017

I don't understand all the hate for this movie. I liked it a lot as a child, and even now as an adult. The political side of the movie is a little hard too follow, especially for kids, but It's not that important. It's about Anakin after all.

Jar jar was a bit stupid, but he's just a bit of comedic relief, which is welcome considering the political drama. Knowing who Vader was as a child tugs on my heart strings, and makes you want to find out how such a sweet little boy becomes so evil.
