Re-watched Episode 1 again recently and man, I think it actually has aged well. I don't know why I didn't like the podracing sequence before but it has really grown on me. Jake Lloyd's acting is actually very good in this movie (reference the scene where he leaves his mother on Tatooine).
Yes you can complain about jar jar but honestly the hate is overblown at this point and honestly he's fine. He's okay. But I think in my personal ranking, Phantom is ahead of Rogue One, The Last Jedi and Return of the Jedi now.
Just my opinion, don't kill me for it.
