Just too much. Too many attempts at humour through Jar Jar Binks. Too many reminders that Anakin is special. Too many damn droids. Too many darn coincidences. Too many bad lines by bad people who should never be allowed near a script again.
Other than that, the effects are spectacular, the pod race phenomenal and Darth Maul is cool.
