Il film che ha dato vita al mito, questo film ha lasciato un segno nell'immaginario collettivo: le spade laser, Dart Vader gli jedi etc etc Tecnicamente non è eccelso e pecca sotto molti punti di vista, sicuramente sono stati gli effetti visivi a deputarne il successo planetario.
