Review of Star Wars (1977) by Jayzon W — 01 Jun 2015
Star Wars is probably one of the best films I seen in a long time, and while the film may seem a bit dull, it still brings me awesome visual effects and great acting.
Star Wars has amazing character development, the film started out a bit dull, but by the middle, the film hits hard. Now I watched the pregels first, so I can see why people see that their not as good, I agree that The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are not as good as A New Hope, but Revenge of the Sith is better in my opinion. I enjoyed the trash compartment, and the Death Star being destroyed, but I also enjoyed how Princess Leia and Luke didn't know they are siblings.
Star Wars may have had me exited for most of the film, but I did not like Javva (or however you spell his name), I also did not get why Luke did not get as sad as he should when his aunt and uncle died (or were burned).
In the end, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope is a fun, brilliant, amazing film, and is definitely a masterpiece.
GRADE: 8.4/10.
