Trying as best as I can to keep emotion and personal affection out of it, critically speaking this is one of the most significant films of my generation. Aside from being, arguably, the most significant film ever in terms of visual effects, this has probably inspired more modern filmmakers than any other single film in the past 50 years.
As exhilarating and timeless as any movie I've seen.
