Review of Star Wars (1977) by Patrick K — 16 Dec 2015
The very first film in this legendary franchise and one of the best too after all the time has passed since the Empire was formed behind Vader and the Emperor an old Obi Wan and young Luke Skywalker with Chewbacca and Han Solo join the Rebel Alliance in their struggle to maintain balance.
Its an absolute classic and only bettered by its sequel...just shows George Lucas had a better mind for these movies in the 70s and 80s than he did in the late 90s-early 00s.
