The film that started it all. It's one of the most important films ever made- a film that changed Hollywood movies in almost every way and completely revolutionized the movie-going experience. And as a movie- it's one of the most amazing films I've ever seen- it's expansive, involving, and almost surreal.
It's actually my favorite of the STAR WARS films; although EMPIRE is the best of the lot, A NEW HOPE (2nd to EMPIRE) is one I admired more. And it's a hell of a lot of fun.
