Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Steve K — 13 Mar 2008
A wonderful cold war allegory with a breathlessly literate and spot-on script, the finest acting from the TOS ensemble (particularly Shatner's subtle turn), and an excellent, somber tone. The soundtrack is amazing as well.
The moodiest, most cerebral, and most mature "Star Trek" film.
