Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Adam H — 29 Jun 2009
A very interesting idea, however the movie plods along at an excruciatingly slow pace, ultimately ending with campy fight scenes and corny dialog.
It was very weird hearing Klingons quote Shakespeare, as were all the bizarre, distracting references to Sherlock Holmes, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Hitler, 1962 United Nations discussions on the Cuban Missile Crisis, Peter Pan and more.
I don't think I need to see this one ever again.
