Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Vince K — 19 Jul 2009
Captain Kirk hits a girl in the face! But it's OK, she was A Man, er, I mean Iman. It was totally funny, Captain Kirk just went off and punched her in the fucking jaw, like, "Take that, you bitch!" Then she turns into him and he punches HIMSELF in the face! Classic! Not much to say really about this one.
It's pretty good, way better than Part V. They give Sulu his own ship to be Captain of, which is pretty cool I guess but I would rather him be onboard the Enterprise where he belongs. Remember when Sulu got super high and attacked the crew with a fencing sword? Classic! This was to be the last movie featuring the original crew.
Were they getting too old or was everyone just getting pressured into doing a Next Generation movie? I would've liked to have seen more movies with the original crew, I mean, they did 6 of them, why stop? They could have done Next Generation movies at the same time.
And it was horrible how they included 3 cast members in the first Next Generation movie, and killed off Captain Kirk in a totally stupid dissapointing way. I'll be talking about that next as soon as I watch it.
Plus I think I keep mispelling disappointing, but I'm not sure.
