Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Ike O — 21 Jul 2009
One of the three best in the entire franchise, and comfortably better than at least half (maybe 2/3, maybe more) of the Star Wars franchise. Incredibly well thought out, meticulous, well-plotted, deep and pleasantly allegorical.
The perfect send-off to the perfect crew that shared their voyages through the universe with us for 20years - I still get nostalgic, edge-of-my-seat excited (especially when Kirk leans forward and says "FIRE!") and a bit teary eyed at the ending credits.
