My favorite Trek film these days. Star Trek VI sees the return of Khan director Meyer, and he brings with him the same skill he brought before. The plot is a great comment on the end of the Cold War and racism.
The plot has a mystery to solve and has some adventure to boot. Shatner fights himself, great space battle scenes, and I just can't resist a race the clock ending. While not technically the best of the Trek films, its a strong contender.
