Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Dan Y — 20 May 2010
My favorite of all the old Star Trek movies. This was the last outing with the original crew before the TNG films came along and ruined things. It's always entertaining when it is Starfleet vs Klingons, in this case a small band of Klingons hell bent on keeping peace between the two sides impossible along with a few key other fellow conspirators.
Leonard Nimoy shines as always as Mr. Spock. This time, Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy end up out on their own and having to fix things, while Spock commands the Enterprise and devises a plan to save his friends. Excellent performance from Christopher Plummer. "CRYHAVOOOC!!! And let loose the dogs of war!".
