Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Dann M — 03 Apr 2012
"To be, or not to be..." A disaster in the Klingon Empire puts the universe on the verge of war and the Enterprise is caught in the middle. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country is an adventurous thriller that's full of dramatic tension and mystery.
Director Nicholas Meyer returns and brings back a serious, dramatic look and feel to the series. And, in addition to the regular cast, Christopher Plummer, Kurtwood Smith, and Kim Cattrall come aboard and bring a lot of energy to the film.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country is a poetic final voyage for the original series films and a compelling sci-fi drama.
