Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Marshall S — 27 Jul 2008
While not an excellent movie, it was a good Trek movie and a bittersweet farewell to the original crew. The story and plot are uninspiring as it reeks of a complete current events ripoff. The Klingon dialogue is laughable, and Spock's "only Nixon could go to China" is thoroughly weird and out of place.
Still, we could have done a lot worse in a final goodbye movie. The final shots were worth it.
